5% of AGPO to be reserved for PWDs

Kenya Kwanza promised that 5 per cent of Access to Government Procurement Opportunities (AGPO) will be reserved for Persons With Disabilities (PWDs), with an increase in LPO financing.

• As of late 2025 the AGPO program currently resreves 30% for PWDs, women, and youth collectively, with PWDs still receiving a disproportionately small share.
• While the promise for 5% dedicated AGPO for PWDs is not the current status, LPO financing for PWDs is ongoing though limited by budget constraints.
