Strengthening Jua Kali capacity to produce high quality construction productions
The Kenya Kwanza government promised to strengthen Jua Kali industry capacity to produce high-quality construction productions.
In August 2023 Jua Kali Artisans signed a contract with the government worth Sh 125 million for construction of affordable houses in Thika Town.
Jua Kali artisans in Kitengela are also to enter construction contracts with the government for supply of materials like steel doors and windows for the Boma Yangu Kitengela Veterinary Estate, amounting to upto KES 100,000,000 for the involved suppliers.
