Implement the two-thirds gender rule

The Kenya Kwanza government promised to implement the two-thirds gender rule in both elective and appointive seats within 12 months.

The appointments that have been made by the president so far do not meet the two-thirds gender, but he mulls working with Parliament to fast-track various legislative proposals and establish a framework that will resolve this matter.
