Establish a university in Emurua Dikirr, in honour of the late MP Johana Ng’eno

In August 2026, the President of Kenya announced plans to establish a KSh 1.2 billion university in Emurua Dikirr, Narok County, to honour the lir late MP Johana Ng’eno. The end goal is to provide opportunities for higher education for the residents of the area.

 

 

 

  • As of August 2026, there is no record of implementation despite the government setting aside a budget for the construction of the university.
