Clean cooking manufacturers (for example, BURN) have secured investment (around US$5 million) from ElectriFI to scale deployment of induction cookers to over 100,000 households.
Kenya co-hosted the 2026 Clean Cooking Summit in Nairobi in July 2026 alongside Norway, the U.S., and the International Energy Agency to mobilize further international investment.
The country has also secured funding to be applied towards the scale-up of clean cooking technologies.
