Waiver on licenses and fees for new PWDs businesses

The Kenya Kwanza government promised to encourage counties to waive licenses and fees for new businesses established by Persons with Disabilities.

In December 2023, Kiambu Governor Wamatangi declared the exemption of business licence fees for people with disabilities.
Kirinyaga County Governor Waiguru also announced business permit waivers for Persons with Disabilities.
