Completion of all unfinished stadiums

On 1st September 2023, President Ruto promised to complete all unfinished stadiums nationwide.

Ministry of Sports unveiled plans to revamp three stadiums to meet international standards including Kasarani Stadium, Nyayo Stadium, and Kipchoge Keino Stadium (Eldoret) respectively ahead of AFCON 2027.
Whilst refurbishments are continuing in stadiums across the country, this promise is far from being met. Talanta stadium which is to be the groundbreaking construction is also bedevilled by audit and corruption irregularities.
