Kenya will be a visa free country

On 12th December 2023, the president of Kenya promised that, effective January 2024, Kenya will be a visa-free country.

On January 2nd, 2024, the Government of Kenya launched the electronic travel authorization system.
Most African nationals (except from Libya and Somalia) can now enter Kenya without an eTA or visa and stay up to 60 days.
