Share of 50% of the revenue of Tsavo park with Taita Taveta County.

On 23rd July 2023, the President promised that Taita Taveta county will receive 50% of the revenue collected from Tsavo National Park.

 

 

 

 

  • On 11th December 2025, President Ruto publicly stated that the revenue from Tsavo National Park will not be shared as it is allegedly too little. This followed after numerous stalls on the implementation of the promise.
