Promote Career Progression among Civil Servants

The Kenya Kwanza government promised to promote career progression among civil servants to rise from the entry point to the highest cadre.

 

 

 

  • The Kenya Kwanza government initiated trainings for civil servants and made a commitment to motivate civil servants.
  • In May 2026 the Public Service Commission promised to  prioritize performance and productivity in managing career progression for public servants.
  • The Public Service Commission also invited stakeholders to submit views on a Policy on Career Progression for the Public Service, with submissions closing on 13 July 2026.
