Implementation of a Digital Master Plan

The Kenya Kwanza government promised that the implementation of the Digital Master Plan will adhere to environmental agreements in which Kenya is a signatory.

The Kenya Digital Master Plan encompasses environmental protection and conservation in its provisions.
On March 3/ 2026 Kenya was set to receive $390 million (approximately Ksh.50.3 billion) from the World Bank over the next three years to upgrade its digital infrastructure.
