Hiring New Teachers to Address Shortage

The Kenya Kwanza government promised to bridge the current teacher shortage gap of 116,000 within two financial years.

The Kenya Kwanza government has currently employed 76,000 teachers, and has modified its promise to reach the promised 116,000 hirings in 2027.
