100% NHIF Coverage for PWDs

The Kenya Kwanza government promised to ensure 100 per cent NHIF coverage for PWDs within 18 months.

• There is no official, publicly reported statistic yet that disaggregates SHIF enrollment or utilization specifically for PWDs. As of now, neither the Social Health Authority (SHA) nor the Ministry of Health has published PWD-specific SHIF coverage figures.
