Strengthening Konza Technopolis

The administration will strengthen Konza Technopolis to bring together industry, academic institutions, and other innovators to co-invest in emerging technologies to create high-quality jobs that leverage artificial intelligence, robotics, and other technologies and thus enhance our regional and global competitivenes

  • The Konza Technopolis Development Authority (KoTDA) has reported substantial progress in vertical development, which is advancing, with a Tier III Certified National Data Center and a conference facility already operational.
  • The government and KoTDA have actively forged partnerships to expand Konza’s ecosystem. A key collaboration was signed with AfriLabs in July 2025 to boost innovation and support startups across Africa. Other collaborations, such as with South Korea and the Thunderbird School of Management, aim to enhance technical support, research, and innovation.
  • Konza is being developed as a green city, leveraging green energy, sustainable water solutions, and a robust waste management system to attract eco-conscious investors.
