Judgments and court orders

The Kenya Kwanza government promised to determine, within 60 days, all judgments and orders against the government, and make sure that the government abides by all court rulings.

There is no public record showing implementation of this promise; in fact, on January 3rd 2024, the President has come out publicly saying that he will not be stopped by court orders in his operations.
On 20th January 2026, the Nation newspaper had a coverage of state officials within the current government that are defying court orders.
