Deployment of skilled community health workers

• Ensure deployment of adequate numbers of skilled community health workers on a regular stipend paid through a cost-sharing framework between the National Government and county governments.

September 2023: The Government launched the initiative of deploying Community Health Promoters (CHPs) and will jointly pay stipends and health insurance for the 100,000 CHPs, kit them, and digitize them using the government’s resources.
