Return Port Operations to Mombasa

The Kenya Kwanza government had promised to return port operations to Mombasa.

On 13th September 2022, during his swearing-in speech, the President directed that all port operations be transferred to Nairobi and Naivasha Inland Container Depots (ICDs) to Mombasa. The directive was implemented 13 days later.
