Return Port Operations to Mombasa

The Kenya Kwanza government had promised to return port operations to Mombasa.

On 13th September 2022, during his swearing in speech, the President directed that all port operations transferred to Nairobi and Naivasha Inland Container Depots (ICDs) to Mombasa. The directive was implemented 13 days later.
