Review of remuneration and terms of service for all officers in the security sector

• Within the first 100 days, Kenya Kwanza will commission a review of remuneration and terms of service for all officers in the security sector to be commensurate with the cost of living.

The President established a task force led by the former Chief Justice, David Maraga to oversee reforms at the National Police Service and the Kenya Prisons Service. On 3rd March, 2023, the President announced an extension of the task force for sixty days to also address issues affecting the NYS.
