Establishment of a sports funding task force

The Kenya Kwanza Government promised to establish a high level expert task force to identify sustainable sources of sports funding.

While the Kenya Kwanza Government’s commitment to the establishment of the task force was restated in the State Department for Sports’ strategic plan for the years 2023 through 2027, the task force is yet to be established as at October 2025.
