Equipping the Attorney General’s office

• The government promised to equip the Attorney-General’s office with the resources and ability it needs to safeguard the public interest in court, legislating, negotiating international agreements, and signing of contracts. By doing so, the government will avoid needless litigation and costly fines.

The 2023 Budget Policy statement sets out this promise as a priority program.
