In particular, the government aims to expand the market for Kenyan products and services by taking advantage of our membership in regional organisations such as the East African Community, the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCTA), and the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD). The administration will also take advantage of Kenya’s status as a tech powerhouse to drive economic interest in the country further.
